Pastor Andrew Frey
Pastor Andrew Frey grew up in Seward, Nebraska and graduated from Nebraska Lutheran High School in 2002. Pastor Frey attended college in New Ulm, Minnesota at Martin Luther College, graduating in 2006. He then attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin, graduating in 2010. He spent his third year at the Seminary as a Vicar at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
In July of 2007, Pastor Frey married Kimberly (nee Aaberg), who grew up in Stanton, Nebraska—the two met at Nebraska Lutheran High School. Kimberly graduated from MLC in 2007 with a degree in elementary and early childhood education. They have three children: Noah (born in June of 2009), Micah (born in May of 2011), and Cecelia (born in October of 2013).
In 2010 Pastor Frey was assigned to serve the Lord at St. John Lutheran Church in Standish, Michigan. He served there for 6 1/2 years before accepting the call to St. John where he was installed in March of 2017. Pastor Frey, Kim, and their children are excited to be here in the Appleton area and to share the message of Christ’s saving work to his children at St. John and others in our area.
